La Casa del Pan actively promotes musicians from around
the world. All three Casas del Pan were opened with a celebration of live festive music.
There is live music nightly in La Casa del Pan in San Cristobal de Las Casas, and CDs and
tapes of various musicians are available for sale in the Gift Shop.

Kippy´s son Ian plays with Wisdom and Guy
Kippy Nigh, the owner of Casa del Pan, is a flute player and has released two CD´s with her group "A CAMPO TRAVIEZA". She plays on occasion in La Casa del Pan in San Cristobal de Las Casas, which has become known as a venue for good nightly live music, ranging from traditional Mexican styles like Son Jarocho and Huapango, to African music, reggae, salsa, jazz, Bossa Nova, Celtic, and a variety of other popular Mexican and Latin styles. Casa del Pan presents all these varieties of music at no extra charge to its customers.
Each anniversary brings more musicians together
There are so many musicians who have played at La Casa del Pan in San Cristobal de Las Casas, that it´s impossible to name them all. Some come from as far away as Nigeria, and others, from around the corner in San Cristobal, others, from other parts of Mexico, like Veracruz and Queretaro. Many of these musicians have recorded compact discs and tapes which are available for sale in the "MUSIC" section of the Gift Shop.
